Application: mProductive, The Ultimate BlackBerry To Do List
By Benzoon | December 3rd, 2010 | 2 Comments »Ladies & Gentlemen, introducing… the mProductive, The Ultimate BlackBerry To Do List. One of the primary reasons for a business person to have a BlackBerry is to become more productive. But when you are relying on several applications or using BlackBerry Tasks, Calender, and MemoPad, that doesn’t integrate with each other, you may run into problems. Problems like how you remember about a special meeting, but then forgot to prepare a document for that meeting cause you wrote it down in your BlackBerry Tasks and forgot to check there. mProductive can you avoid these problems by combining all of these features all in one place.

The View of Your World – Now let’s take a closer look at the application. The app uses a clean and warm blue color scheme. Once you get into the application, it takes you to the main menu. It shows you how many email, SMS/MMS, and call history. Below, it lists out how many tasks you have; divided into to do today, past due, future, and unassigned items. So when you open the application every morning, you know what you need to do today and what tasks you have not completed and need to catch up on. At the bottom, it even shows you how many tasks you have for the rest of the week.
Link Related Items – mProductive is designed to be user friendly and easy to navigate around. You can look through your entries by project or categories; or you can sort them by project name, due date, priority, status, or name. One thing I really liked about this application is its ability to link items. You can link your tasks, memos and calender entries to a specific project or category. This is very convenient when you want to remember to do something before your next meeting. This way, you no longer have to juggle between your calender, tasks, and memopad; no more switching between applications. It really helps boost your productivity and help you stay organized.

This is to bring good news to all you BlackBerry Smartphone users who are regular visitors on craigslist.com. In the near future, you can get an application for craigslist on your BlackBerry phones itself. According to the latest news, an official craigslist BlackBerry app is about hit Research In Motion’s BlackBerry App World mobile software shop.
The new app from Movela, the makers of Movela Netfix Queue Manager offers all the features available on craigslist.com. Equipped with an intuitive user interface, browsing the various site listing is just so easy. You can respond to postings immediately from the app itself using e-mail or phone. craigslist Mobile for BlackBerry offers a quick, one click access from the app’s home screen to the listings on craigslist section like Community, Personals, Housing, Jobs, For Sale, Services, Gigs and much more!
Using the preferences tab on top on the app home screen, you can quickly swap cities, states and countries.
What’s more, you can even choose to use your device’s font style within the app and use it the way you like it. There’s also a navigation bar at the bottom using which you can quickly return to the home screen, view saved searches and perform new queries, check on bookmarked listings, submit feedback to the application creators as well as send alerts BlackBerry-toting friends who might feel like checking out the craigslist mobile for themselves.
When you are about to view “adult-related” content, warning screens will popup. To proceed to the following pages, you will be required to comply with the terms of service. The menu option “Post on craigslist” will open up the BlackBerry browser and bring to you the Craigslist mobile site, from where you can login and post your new listings.
Though the app is not yet available, Craigslist mobile is waiting for Research In Motion to approve it, and hopefully, it will be available in the BlackBerry App World very soon. The price of craigslist mobile for the BlackBerry can cost something around $4.99, which does not appear to be a very huge sum, considering the frequency with which you use craigslist. You may find loads of other application that will provide access to craigslist.com, but we can tell you one thing, Movela’s new craigslist mobile is certainly the best among the options available.
So just be patient and wait for it because when it is going to be available, you will be simply amazed!

ActionPad for BlackBerry Beta 10 – Pre-Release Screenshots! (Chinese / Japanese / Unicode Memo Encryption)
By k | July 23rd, 2009 | No Comments »I managed to get some pre-release screenshots of the ActionPad for BlackBerry program which is some kind of a next-generation MemoPad for BlackBerry smartphones!
Some ActionPad Core Features are:
- 1 Click Category Switch
- 1 Click Memo Creation (N)
- Native BlackBerry Integration
- Memo Encryption
You can find more information on the actual program website: ActionPad for BlackBerry
(You also get a free download of the app there
)

It seems they fixed the encryption bug for non-English text which will make our Chinese Buddies very happy I guess
I don’t know what the other improvements will be over the last beta 9 (v0.8.1) which they released about 3 weeks ago. Will keep you guys posted on this! I hope the new version comes soon! I am so excited!
