With social media becoming so popular nowadays, some of us use more than one social media platforms. However, sometimes it gets difficult to manage all of them. To solve this problem, RIM has put in a native free application for all it’s BlackBerry 7 OS users – Social Feeds 2.0. A single app that aggregates content such as Twitter, Facebook, RSS feeds and podcast. Some of the features I really like include the ability to mark items for follow-up, searching within Social Feeds 2.0 for specific feed content, and enhanced feed integration to let me perform Facebook or Twitter actions right from the Social Feeds 2.0 app.

RIM has launches a new version of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager Software 2.0 for Mac. It has Wi-Fi music syncing capabilities – something Mac users have been asking for a long time. In addition, the new OS X version of Desktop Software 2.0 also enables users to sync videos and and photo with iTunes and iPhoto, as well as a device-switch wizard that helps you switch from one BlackBerry to another. Google has introduced the second version of its Gmail client for mobile phones. Aside from the usual performance tweaks, the new edition allows users to access then emails even when offline.
Yep, you can now compose and read recent emails when you don’t have a signal or access to Wi-Fi, while outgoing messages will be saved in the outbox until you’re back in coverage.
