PowerControl is a small application that helps you save battery on your BlackBerry. You schedule times to switch the device off and back on. Now you might say: “This is already built-in the BlackBerry with Auto ‘On/Off’, why would need this then?” BlackBerry’s ‘Auto On/Off’ can only switch your device off and back on a designated time on weekdays and weekends. With PowerControl you can schedule the BlackBerry to turn off and back on any time on every day of the week. You can even set multiple on/of schedules per day. Say: you don’t need to be bothered while you are sleeping and during lunchtime. This is only possible with PowerControl! Of course, while your device switched off, it saves a lot of battery as the radio, email, WiFi, whatever is not running and does not consume any power! :)

    didnt work for me, I add schedule power on and power off time but dont work..

    I have a bb 8900 curve javelin and a pearl 8100 and in anyone work anytime.

    whats happing?

    Sorry, this is not a good app. Installed on my 8230 Pearl Flip but could not set a schedule. It just flip-flopped between on and off. Also, the pdf manual was absolutely useless. Had no info at all.
