Bold 2 Tops List of BlackBerry’s 2009 Best
The year has almost come to an end. And as we prepare to rejoice in the merriment’s of Christmas and New Year, there’s even more good news for Research In Motion, the Canadian company responsible for manufacturing the iconic BlackBerry phones. Every December the “Best of the Year” lists come out. This year, too, has its lists ready to be shown off. Wondering which phone was the bets smartphone of the year 2009? You don’t need to guess any further because the list is out and there to see.
If you’re out to buy a BlackBerry, one of these lists has been created just for Research In Motion’s baby. Digital Trends released its list of the top five BlackBerrys of the year. The phones that have grabbed the top five positions in the list are the BlackBerry Bold 2, the Tour, the Curve 8900, the Pearl and the Curve 8520 respectively. The “no frills no fluff” approach of the BlackBerry Bold 2, or the 9700, has been applauded by the Web site, thus fetching their approval as the best of the lot. In fact, according to them the BlackBerry Bold 2 is top notch amongst the BlackBerry’s best-ever smartphones. The Bold’s full 3G Internet, the Bluetooth, display, super battery, GPS, Wi-Fi and the 3.2 megapixel camera are irresistible features that just can’t be overlooked.
The BlackBerry Tour which has secured the second position as the best BlackBerry phones of 2009 has a number of features that have led Digital Trends to accord it its deserving second. In a story posted earlier this year, the BlackBerry Tour was called “ridiculously fabulous”. Digital Trends thinks of the Tour as one of the best BlackBerry phones for many types of users, which includes the casual messaging user, the business person or the social networker. The features of Tour like its GPS, Bluetooth and world-roaming options have been cited by Digital Trends as “perfect for traveling and everyday use”. Just use the phone once; you’ll be convinced why the phone has been praised thus.
Occupying the third position in the list is the BlackBerry Curve 8900. The fourth position has been awarded to the BlackBerry Pearl. The fifth position in the list published by the site has been grabbed by BlackBerry Curve 8520. This is mostly due to its lower price which makes it reachable.
