The wait for many BlackBerry users is finally going to come to an end soon. The latest BlackBerry application that will offer all the basic functionalities of LinkedIn will soon be available. Now, all those who have been eagerly wishing for such an application can heave a sigh of relief!
It is a known fact that majority of BlackBerry users are business people, and are on the lookout for applications that make staying connected in their fraternity easy. In the absence of any such application, the best option they could resort to was the LinkedIn mobile website. As these business-oriented people represent a large percentage of LinkedIn’s target user base, it was important to fulfill their needs. So out came LinkedIn for BlackBerry users.
At the second annual BlackBerry Developer Conference in San Francisco of RIM, LinkedIn’s VP of search and platform products, Adam Nash and RIM’s Software CTO David Yach demonstrated the brand new LinkedIn for BlackBerry application to more than 1000 attendees. So along with Facebook for BlackBerry, MySpace for BlackBerry, Twiitter for BlackBerry, LinkedIn will also join the bandwagon and make social-networking on the BlackBerry easy and fun.
Though it is unclear as to when LinkedIn for BlackBerry will be available, it will surely be mind-blowing. With this new application that is yet to b launched, the users can enjoy all the functionalities that they encounter on the website, LinkedIn. They include messaging and profile viewing as well. It will also display notification alerts on the BlackBerry home screen “ribbon”. Moreover, this application also integrates with a number of native BlackBerry applications, like the BlackBerry Calendar application. For example, you can click on a meeting attendee’s name and in no time you can view that person’s LinkedIn profile. So it is really going to be an exciting and a great application that will make using your BlackBerry phones far more convenient and indispensable.
The application also appears pretty impressive with its cool and innovative appearance. Though the application is not yet available for public use, once it is made available, with it you can manage your LinkedIn account very easily while you are on the go. It won’t be long when BlackBerry Smartphone users can download the innovative and amazing application and use it to access the business-oriented social networking site. So just hold on and count the seconds, because the time is coming!
