The Blackberry is preloaded with a wide variety of features and applications that are sure to cater to the widest possible array of customers. But the Blackberry platform has become so popular that it has become extremely easy for third party software developers to create applications addressing some of the smallest bugs in the Blackberry phone.
Some applications are as expected more useful than others, and it is vital to read the purpose of the
application before downloading the file from the internet. In order to make the phone quicker and easier to operate, a new application has arrived on the market in the form of Shortcut Berry. This application aims at allowing the user to create shortcuts for the features that are most often used by them.
Shortcut Berry provides an effective solution for those who are looking to multitask. It becomes improbable with the absence of shortcut keys for the user to actually activate two or more applications at one time. Shortcut berry makes use of the convenience keys on the side of the phone to deliver such a unique and easy experience to the user. The application primarily works depending on the number of clicks the user gives to the convenience keys. A single click can be designated to open a particular application, a double click can be associated to some other application and this can be done up to quadruple clicks, where a different application can be designated to run depending on the number of clicks given by the user.
The other shortcuts are designed such that it is very easy to remember for the user. This application allows for more than 3 different shortcuts to be designated to various applications. The application is so developed that upon upgrading the firmware of the phone, the new firmware automatically recognises the already assigned shortcuts and the user can continue using the phone just as he was before the upgrade.
The application also supports shortcuts for making calls to users or even to send an email or text message, thereby offering even better scope for users who multitask. A double click on the convenience key from any point of the menu can lock the keypad. There are also customizable shortcuts for individual applications that the user may download.
All in all the Shortcut berry aims at reducing the time and effort of its users, and is available for $4.99.
