Firefox for BlackBerry

There are not many alternative browser for the BlackBerry. The Firefox team however is working on a mobile version which seems promising:

Though there is no Firefox browser available that can be used with the BlackBerry, you can put Firefox on your Blackberry.

    Are you for real Bill Drew? As if there isnt already a firefox version for Linux/Unix, and one that works on Nokia phones? You havent heard of java, perl, symbian programs for smart phones?

    Well, I am with Bill on this one.

    By the time Firefox makes their mobile version for BB … well, they’ve been talking about it for the last few years.

    Firefox portable doesn’t work. I’ve tried many times to figure it out. And, honestly, anything that is worth this much time trying to do is not worth it.

    Too bad BB was in the bottom of their to do list.
