TaskReports is gonna come with GTD support!

I just got a hint from a friend of mine over at S4BB who leaked me an internal beta version of the TaskReports for BlackBerry program. This nice app is currently in free and open beta test and a new version is supposed to be released this week. That new version is gonna come with GTD support. We have talked about GTD and the BlackBerry a lot before. The best GTD application for your BlackBerry is NextAction! at the moment which comes from the same vendor; so they have a lot of experience in the field of GTD applications for BlackBerry devices.

The next version of TaskReports will provide an overview of your next actions and also integrates into existing GTD task databases on your BlackBerry like NextAction! is doing. Which actually means: you can analyse your NextAction! tasks respectively you can get a daily GTD report by email in a nice and fancy HTML layout. I made a screen shot of such a HTML report I sent myself with one of my BlackBerry devices. Check it out here:

For implementing GTD you can use this web-based application:

    http://www.Gtdagenda.com

You can use it to manage your goals, projects and tasks, set next actions and contexts, use checklists, schedules and a calendar.
A mobile version and iCal are available too.

But then I need internet access all the time. It also costs a lot of money over time if I enter 20 next actions each day I need to go to the page, load it, enter, wait … not really convenient. Just destroys the idea of GTD :(

However, I think it is a nice thing when you are on your desktop with extremely high speen internet access.
