No more frustration when you need power on the go

As cellphones, BlackBerries, iPods, MP3 players and the like proliferate, there is a certain frustration level with battery life. Most new devices have pretty good battery life, but if you regularly travel with several devices, you’ll soon be frustrated by all the different chargers you need to carry. You’ll also discover that your cellphone runs out of juice when you’re the furthest away from a place to charge the thing.

Powerstick, from the Canadian company Ecosol, appears to be the answer. It’s a terrific design, works great and is reasonable priced — and it’s made in Canada — you can get one at Best Buy for under $70.
The design is simple — it looks like a slightly oversized thumb drive (USB drive). With a USB connector on one end and a standard plug on the other, the Powerstick’s appearance belies its flexibility and usefulness. The lithium polymer battery charges quickly — you can go from empty to full in 90 minutes and it’s good for about a thousand charges.
