First BlackBerry Pearl crash after a year!

That’s how it may look if your BlackBerry Pearl crashes.
I got my BlackBerry Pearl about a year ago and it worked fine. Every day! As the nature of a BlackBerryInsight editor brings a lot of tasks like program testing along, this device had to run a lot of different software. Some of the software were crap, some were great and some were just amazing. However, this morning it seems the device have crashed completely. Not just my alarm didn’t work (so I got up too late) - the complete device didn’t do nothing anymore. It was neccessary to perform a hardware reset by pulling and replacing the battery.
The BlackBerry’s state was just: The “Phone Application Help” was activated and sometimes later a Calendar object reminder popped up to inform me about what to do. As shown in the screen shot, the BlackBerry Pearl crashed at this point. The hard reset fixed it but technically this should not happen, right?
Anyway, everything is back working fine now.
