Flashlight Pro
Imagine you are lost somewhere, it is dark and you do not know where you are or even don’t see your hand because of the dark…

There is a tool that might help you out of this. It is called Flashlight Pro and turns your BlackBerry into a flashlight. So if you are in front of your home’s door and you are searching the keyhole, just take your BlackBerry to enlight you.

But that is not enough! You can now also use your BlackBerry as a morse-like device to send a S-O-S morse code using the screen of your BlackBerry. Well that are just bells and whistles :)

Flashlight Pro ($3.99)

If you upgrade your device software, as I just did with my Curve 8310 from version 4.2.2 to 4.5.0.55, one of the new features is video recording. The Video Camera app has a video light option, which uses your phone’s flash, which you can toggle on and off using the Space key. It’s crazy bright, and makes paying for an app pointless…
