NextAction! is on the BlackBerry market for a long time now. We have seen a lot of improvements since then. It is the only tool that provides such a straight implementation of David Allen’s “Getting Things Done”.

I have found at different places that NextAction! now supports the Mac’s task and calendar applications to synchronize its data with them. You will need the PocketMac for BlackBerry application to get the synchronization work with your Mac, but this application is free. So you can handle your tasks on your BlackBerry on the go as well as on your desktop computer.

The supported task and calendar programs are:

• Entourage
• iCal
• Now Contact/Now Up-To-Date
• Meeting Maker

This might be an argument for a lot of people to try using the GTD on their BlackBerry.

That is the formular we all can use. Even though we should keep in mind that the new PocketMac version 4.0 is able to “load new applications onto your BlackBerry as well as synchronize your email, contacts, calendar, tasks and notes with popular Mac applications [...]“ (Source: PocketMac for BlackBerry). Actually the PocketMac is needed to synchronize the data. But anyone who has a BlackBerry and a Mac will have it running anyway.

It might be even possible to sync your BlackBerry with your Mac which itself will sync with your iPhone and iPod. Doesn’t that sound crazy?
