NextAction! 1.6.1

Faster, Better and More Features.
That is the summary of the new version of NextAction!. It took a long time but now it is out. As mentioned before this version is also available in German. The most important feature to mention is the Notes Support which enables you to add notes to every task from within NextAction! on your BlackBerry as well as from within your favorite task application (e.g. Outlook, Lotus Notes, Groupwise, Act! etc.). So these notes are synchronized as well when you are synchronizing your BlackBerry with your desktop. There are also a lot of other neat neat improvements which make the live so much easier. Why don’t you just take a look for your own below. The update is free for all current users of NextAction!.
The “added features list” reads as followed:
- » German language localization (German version only)
- » Notes support
- » SPACE to mark a next action as done/undone
- » Tasks: “n” to add a new task
- » “c” switch to contexts
- » Contexts: SPACE hide/unhide selected context
- » Contexts: ENTER rename context
- » Add/Edit next action:
save next action - » Contexts: “n” add new context
- » Contexts: “e” context up
- » Contexts: “x” context down
- » DELETE deletes the selected next action
- » Contexts: DELETE deletes the selected context, tasks will remain but disassociated from the context
- » Configurable delete confirmation for next actions
- » Configurable delete confirmation for contexts

However, I made a blue shot and am lucky that I did it. It works for me as I am straight forward implementing GTD. So here is the answer as far as I can tell from my experience:Accurately sync with Exchange/Outlook as claimedYes, it works fine but you might need some time to know how to add tasks in you outlook. E.g. you need to assign a project/context to a task. If there is no such assignment the tasks will not be shown in NA as it is based on the conext-relation (GTD-specific). However, those tasks are on the device and can be accessed through the BB application. Allow you to set low/regular/high prioirties and sync these to OutlookAs this is not part of the GTD principle, this is not possible with NA.
Allow input of notes for tasks and sync these with OutlookYes, but you cannot add line breaks in the notes field in the current version. Sync over any reminders you have set on your Outlook tasksAs far as I have seen, yes. Moreover, I have heard from some people that there is an evaluation possible if you ask them. Moreover, the 30-day unconditional money back guarantee seems to work fine. I have a friend who tried NA but thought it is not what he wanted (he’s more a todomatrix fan and does not need outlook synchronization). So he asked for a refund and received it quite fast. Nice support! They also asked for the reasons my friend didn’t want NA anymore. So it seems they do really care about what people think. I am also pretty sure there will come a more enhanced version in the near future. I just have that feeling because they regularily ask NA-users for comments and improvement suggestions. I know that because I sometimes receive a mailing … Ah, there is a nice feature overview of the current version NextAction! 1.6.1: BlackBerryInsight » NextAction! 1.6.1 __________________ News and Backstage infos: BlackBerryInsight The BlackBerry Search: Berryquery.com [...]

[...] About 4 months ago the last update on NextAction! has been published. It brought a wide range with new features, more stability and a better workflow.
